If you haven't found an example of the butterfly you're looking for here, I've found several great sites for identification and learning that are quite a bit more in-depth than my own. Visit these links for more butterflies!
Butterflies of Indiana - A Field Guide - (Jeffrey E. Belth, 2013)This book is amazing, and I expect to be consulting it daily. I've not found an online guide with as much information and excellent examples. Link goes to Amazon to purchase your own copy. A must-have!
Discover Life - Butterflies
A great guide for butterflies, but prepare to wade through a lot of examples if you're a newbie and don't know all the terms on their checklist.
Walking in the "Wilds"Another blog I write about the things I find in the Patoka River NWR, the Sugar Ridge FWA, and other local historical spots and photographic opportunities. Includes an interactive map with which you can find some of the spots I might mention finding butterflies at on this site.
